GOWER Homes: Plas Aney Consultation
Our Plans
Gower Homes is bringing forward plans to deliver up to 87 new high-quality homes on land off Ruthin Road, Mold.
The scheme will deliver a mix of housing types and tenures including two, three, and four-bedroom homes. Up to 26 of these properties will be affordable homes suitable for first time buyers and young families. The scheme will also deliver improved public open space, highway and pedestrian access, and landscaping. We have a proud history of delivering high quality homes in Mold and in nearby Sychdyn and New Brighton.
The proposed new homes will bring a variety of social and economic benefits to the area by delivering new local jobs, boost the local economy, and increase council funds to support and improve vital local services.
Location
A sustainable location
The site is located at Plas Aney, Ruthin Road in Mold, and is an ideal location for its close proximity to local shops and facilities which will reduce the need for car journeys and encourage more residents to walk or cycle to nearby amenities.
Delivering much-needed new homes in Mold
Flintshire currently does not have enough land earmarked for residential development to meet housing targets over the next five years. Much-needed new housing can be delivered at this sustainable site.
Local Community Benefits
Our plans will bring many benefits to the local community, including:
- An increase in local spend from new residents which will deliver an economic boost to shops and businesses in Mold.
- New local jobs will be directly created during the construction period and indirectly created in the supply chain.
- More homes will generate more council tax revenue which can be used to support and improve local services.
